CoQ10 for post workout recovery
Maximizing your post workout recovery,
and rebuild energy and stamina with bulk coenzyme q10.
First, here is a better understanding on what exactly CoQ10 is:
CoQ10 is a natural compound found in every cell in the body. It is alternatively named ubiquinone, which comes from the word ubiquitous. This is another way of saying "found everywhere"
What CoQ10 does is, it plays a key role in producing energy within the mitochondria, the part of the cell responsible for the production of energy in the form of ATP. It is also known as the "powerhouse" of the cell.
CoQ10 gives many reasons to make it part of your everyday nutrition:
- Cardiomyopathy

- Heart Failure
- Heart Attack Prevention and Recovery
- High Blood Pressure
- Diabetes
- Gum Disease
- Kidney Failure
- Migraine
- Counteract Prescription Drug Effects
- Parkinson's disease
- Weight loss
CoQ10 Has brought forth much research:
Heart failure:
People with heart failure have been found to have lower levels of CoQ10 in heart muscle cells. Research suggests that CoQ10 may reduce symptoms related to heart failure, such as difficulty breathing or shortness in breath. It also may havean effect on bringing down swelling.
CoQ10 is thought to increase energy production in the heart muscle, increasing the strength of itspumping action. The most recent in studies has not been able to confirm this though.
In one study, 641 people with congestive heart failure were given either CoQ10 (under 3kg per pound of body weight) or a placebo, plus standard treatment. People who took the CoQ10 had a significant reduction in symptom severity and fewer hospitalizations.
Parkinson's disease:
Lower levels of CoQ10 have recently been observed in people with Parkinson's disease. Early research has found that increasing CoQ10 may increase levels of the neurotransmitter dopamine, which is thought to be lowered in people with Parkinson's disease. It has also been suggested that CoQ10 might protect brain cells from damage by free radicals.
CoQ10 when used in a clean diet, included with an exercise program, can be very useful for post-workout recovery, due to its ability to restore energy and bring back full recovery of stamina.
